Carla Lane's new sitcom is about a family of Liverpudlian French bulldogs, The Gerrards. Jean-Pierre, here, is to open a vegan restaurant in Walton.
I presume the entire cast will run around energetically, whining in an engaging Liverpudlian 'regional accent', then go missing at crucial moments in the plot.
Either that, or pop up at inappropriate moments to punt the storyline high into the roof of the stand.

In a just world, Carla Lane would be taken outside and shot like a dog.

The younger members of the cast might run around. Older French bulldogs tend to be more sedentary, though.
Will there be a sofa though, or just one big basket?
In due course, the younger members of the cast will probably all be transferred out to Chelsea, anyway.
Then they can sit on the bench. Not the sofa.
Monsieur et Madame Gerrard have an armchair each. The two boys sit on the settee.
They all sit at the table for meals, though. None of this tv dinner nonsense. They have their pride, you know.
