Brian Blessed loads his rifle with oranges and aims it at me and my sister.
He bellows: 'GET IT INTO THEIR HEADS!', and squeezes the trigger.

It's disturbing me, this one...

You're disturbed? Last night's involved a singing David Baddiel, a couple of giant silverfish, and a vicious snake which launched itself at my face and made me scream myself awake.
Brian Blessed is pretty scary, though.

Actually it was the oranges that did it. Don't ever dream about moths or I may have to load a rifle myself...

I can remember reading an interview with Brian Blessed where he was so relentlessly jolly, boisterous and enthusiastic about life that I immediately felt really depressed. I'm glad you've found the twisted, evil side to him.

Has he invented a new variation on paintballing - fruitball, perhaps?

In "Z cars", Brian Blessed played a part called "Fancy Smith", that almost sounds like an apple rather than an orange.
I hope that helps.

I saw him in Cats once. He was the cat that bellowed.

I once met Brian Blessed and he told me a story about how his cock nearly exploded in a velocity machine. He put his heart and soul into it. I have never, ever laughed so much in my life. Since that time I will never hear a bad word said about the man.

A VELOCITY machine????? And what exactly was that for, pray?

The mind boggles. Or bellows, perhaps.

No wonder his glass is half full.

Sorry, don't know the name of it. It's one of those things that tests out G-Forces on your body. Er, Roger Moore went on one in Moonraker. Some rascal tampered with the controls.

That explains everything.

Hmm, Brian Blessed played King Richard in the original Blackadder. His roles do sound a bit like fruit and veg.
